Description
DPIA Template. Use this when you need to carry out a Data Protection Impact Assessment. This document can be used in your own business or with clients.
WHAT IS A DPIA TEMPLATE?
This is what you need to use when carrying out a Data Protection Impact Assessment.
Firstly, it shows that you value personal data and understand your own responsibilities. Secondly, a DPIA shows that you have thought about how and why you are using data. Finally, you will show how you consider the impact that your use of personal data has on people.
WHY DO I NEED A DPIA TEMPLATE?
You will show you care about their personal data. It will help you conduct a DPIA easily – saving you time and money. You will comply with your own responsibilities and obligations and implement a system so every DPIA is carried out in the same way.
Almost all businesses collect, use and store (process) personal data about individuals. In fact, it’s almost impossible to run any type of organisation without personal data. Think about the personal data from your buyers and people that you deal with in other businesses and organisations. Anything that does or could identify an individual is personal data.
HOW WILL THIS BENEFIT ME?
The individuals you deal with understand more about personal data than ever before due to the many awareness programmes run by Data Protection organisations. They know how precious and valuable it is. Most only want to deal with ethical and responsible organisations who keep their personal data safe. Organisations who will protect their data and not misuse it.
An organisation who shows that they value and protects personal data will find it easier to building lasting and loyal relationships with their buyers and users.

CAN I USE THIS DOCUMENTS WITH MY CLIENTS
All the documents and toolkits which we sell are for use by the person, business or organisation who buys them from us. Unless you have a Pro Licence you can’t share them with others such as other organisation or your own clients and customers.
This DPIA comes with a Pro Licence. This gives you 12 months from the date you buy the DPIA template to use it for your own organisation or with your clients or another person or organisation. You can use it as part of services that you charge for. For example, if you are a GDPR consultant you can use the template as part of your GDPR services to your clients. That client, person or organisation can then use it within their organisation but can not pass the DPIA on to be used by another person or organisation.
